Finish

An authentic finish begins with a hand-planed surface. Our stains
are applied and mixed by hand, utilizing our own formulas. To
ensure durability, we apply a lacquer top coat that is moisture
resistant. We offer a variety of natural and painted finishes on our
pieces (samples are available). It is very important to avoid excessive
humidity, dryness, exposure to direct sunlight or heat sources to
maintain the original patina of our finish.
 

On Cherry and Tiger Maple & Maple our finishes:

Old Maple: A mellow, golden brown

Early American Maple: A deep, rich reddish brown.

Our paint finishes are: Ivory, Oatmeal, White, Black, Black Green, Red, and Blue
